Another weekend in lockdown, another post. Thank you to everyone who read last week's post and shared feedback.

Some of the notes were about finding open roles in companies with the potential to grow. Other than job boards, how can you find exciting opportunities for work?

I've been fortunate to work in two companies that gave me incredible opportunities for professional growth.

I joined Airbnb a couple of months after their Series B funding round. We were scaling fast and hiring dozens of people every month to support the growing business. And in 2017, I was hire #3 at Loom just before our second seed round was raised. We have recruited 100+ people since.

Joining a startup at this stage may be a risky move depending on your professional goals. However, here's some benefits from my personal experience:

🤝 Involvement & visibility in decisions
🚀 Opportunity for learning (about literally everything)
🦄 Direct access to Leadership
💰 Equity package (the company's success can be your success)

If you're looking for a new role, here are 6 companies that raised a Series A or B funding round in the last 6 months. They may be less well-known but they are fast-growing.
